    • This lecture explores the challenges urban trees face under changing climatic conditions from the perspective of landscape architecture. It addresses the increasing frequency of heatwaves and prolonged droughts, examining how current irrigation systems are being adapted to meet new environmental demands. The lecture also discusses the use of seeds and planting material in landscape planning in accordance with the Federal Nature Conservation Act, highlighting legal requirements and best practices for promoting resilient and sustainable urban green spaces.
